It is his favorite food and he becomes very tempermental if he cannot find any. Through out the series it is shown Garf knows this truth of existence. Surprisingly Garfielf destroys Davis and ends the cycle, freeing him and Jon. This cycle is finally broken in “Garfielf gets bloated and discovers the true nature of reality” where Garfielf is confronted by Jim Davis so he can destroy Garfielf. It somewhat of an infinite cycle of hate and evil powering the machine the universe is inside of (as proven in “Garfielf becomes god and vores the universe). It has been referred to many time throughout the garfielf universe the entire universe is powered by the pure hatred of Jon and Garfielf onto each other, and that if they ever stopped their infinite hatred the universe would collapse.
Garfielf has almost got poisoned by Jon once by eating Olive Garden Lasaga©. In subsequent videos he can be seen squarting spiders, accidentally becoming a cannibal, turning half the universe into lasaga and further tormenting Jon by ruining his romantic relationships, among other activities. Garfielf is first seen in his self-titled debut, in which he is seen tormenting his owner Jon with general bad behavior such as abusing his fellow pet Odie, overeating, oversleeping and generally causing a nuisance.
